Spooky Decor Made with Hardware Store Finds

Try decorating your pumpkins with grommets and aluminum wire found at the hardware store. The grommets can be painted black, pink, purple or whatever color you love. Gently pound the grommets into the pumpkin to create a nice pattern or scattered about. Use wire shaped with wire cutters to make swirls or even spell a word.

Spray painted Glitter Pumpkins and Squash

Add some serious sparkle to your front porch with some glitter spray paint. You can go with silver, gold or whatever color works for you. Chains

Cut one-inch lengths from the foam. Then use the gap in each piece to interlock each piece to create a chain. Hang the foam chain over your door a make a ghost with an old white sheet for the chains to hang off.

Make your own cutouts with foam insulation sheets. These tend to come in a variety of sizes. You can make several decorations from a single sheet. Grab some spray paint and paint your decorations to complete the look. Ghosts, witches, pumpkins, tombstones or whatever your pleasure can all be easily crafted from the sheets.
